Growing your voice, specifically
This post will focus on creating a singular voice or brand that is unique to you.
So why should someone go to your blog or business? Well, you must first decide what you want to focus on for either your personal brand or business. Then you must make your content unique. Why should they come to your cat photography blog or your cat photography business when they have so much to choose from? These questions should be the first ones you answer. Once you have this figured out, you can get started on creating a unique voice that will resonate with viewers and will bring them to your site or brand specifically. With this accomplished, you can begin to optimize your voice. The most successful brands and personal blogs that cross platforms have the same voice while still being unique to each platform. What I mean by this is create your voice, then tailor it to the specific forum you’re using. Instagram posts, for example, are best when they are short videos, engaging photographs, and hashtags that engage in the trending topics of the day. Facebook is better for longer posts focusing on getting shares so as to grow your brand. In this way you can have the same voice across all platforms, but still tailor it to the specific content that is best for that specific platform.
